There’s nothing better than women supporting women. We wanted to shout out a few of our favorite accounts on Instagram if you need some more empowerment and women’s sports in your life.

An account “where women are celebrated, uplifted, supported, and empowered everyday.” Get your daily dose of inspirational quotes and add a pop of color to your Instagram feed. Our favorite quote: “I’m working on myself, for myself.”

MAKERS Women @makerswomen

The creators of the film NOT DONE: Women Remaking America are showcasing first hand experiences of women who are challenging the stereotypes surrounding gender. This account celebrates women and all of their accomplishments in film, sports, entertainment, and politics.

The Virago Project @theviragoproject

The Virago Project is a resource for female athletes and sportswomen that delivers tips on mental health, self-care, and maintaining a work life balance. This network of women offers educational events, speaking engagements, and a mentorship program to guide women through life as athletes.

On Her Turf highlights women's success across a multitude of sports at different levels in the game. This news site provides your daily dose of women making headlines in the sports industry by flipping the script and exceeding expectations.   

The Female Lead @the_female_lead

The Female Lead showcases women around the world making a difference for the next generation of girls. Their “The Making Of…” podcast features the amazing stories of influential women such as Caitlin Moran and Yomi Adegoke.  

Girls on the Run International @girlsontheruninternational

Girls on the Run International helps strengthen confidence in young girls by teaching them how to love themselves and others. They offer after school programming for grade level and middle school girls and advocate for living an active lifestyle through their 5k events around the world.

Girl Up Campaign advocates for equal treatment of girls and women around the world. They represent the voices of women who are not heard and are known for their #GirlsEqual initiative. Hello Sunshine was founded by Reese Witherspoon and focuses on putting women at the center of all stories in the media and in print. Their book club and podcast provides women with multiple outlets for seeking joy, empowerment, and motivation on a daily basis.

Create & Cultivate is full of badass women who are leaders, business owners, entrepreneurs, and content creators. Their podcast “Work Party” and retail line allow women to express themselves and shine as powerful individuals.

ESPNW @espnw

ESPNW highlights women in the sports industry by showcasing their achievements and success on and off the field. Their goal is to expand platforms for female athletes and prove that women are just as capable at achieving extraordinary things as their male counterparts.
