The LEAD team is proud to unveil the LEAD Academy, an online platform with the aim of serving a broad community of teenage athletes with the highest quality mentorship and learning experience. The Lead Sports Academy will offer in-depth courses taught by experts in Confidence, Leadership, Sport Psychology, and more. In addition to the courses, the Academy will also offer a membership, where course experts will lead interactive, 8-week sessions through individual courses. At the conclusion of each 8 week course, experts will continue to provide exclusive course materials, discussion boards, monthly Q&As, and special guest speaker workshops for members. The first course to be released by the Academy is the Confidence Course, with Coach Christen Shefchunas, which opened on May 25, with the guided 8 week classes starting on June 7. 

I’ve dreamed of creating this platform for teenage girl athletes for the last year and a half and to see it finally come to life and the very excited reception from the youth sports community has been quite a surprise. Not in a million years could we have imagined a global pandemic creating a need and desire for more online learning but we hope we can serve this part of our community, teenage girl athletes, and their parents through this incredible platform for many years to come. - Kara Lynn Joyce, LEAD Co.
